Stendhal Festival is proud to announce its first-ever main stage sponsor for the 13th annual music and arts festival, taking place on July 6th-8th in Limavady. This year, the Karma Valley Stage, which will host renowned acts such as The Wailers, Bell X1, and Newton Faulkner, will be powered by Alchemy, a Derry/Londonderry-based technology company that has a proud history of supporting local music and the arts. Alchemy is already a proud supporter of local artistic endeavours such as the Playhouse, Millennium Forum, Les Foyer des Artistes, and has also previously played a role in supporting the Community Stages at The International Choir Festival.

Throughout its history, Alchemy has proven to be a great champion of the arts in the region. Alchemy Technology Services is a global centre of excellence for insurance software implementation and professional services, supporting the digitisation of the insurance industry. Alchemy provides highly skilled talent and expertise needed to progress the modernisation and growth of technology platforms. John Harkin, CEO and Founder of Alchemy Technologies, said: "As a company, we understand the huge value that the arts bring to communities, and the community aspect of Stendhal Festival really attracted us to getting involved with the event. Since day one, we have incorporated music into all our company celebrations and are pleased to be bringing a large contingent of our team to the event. The overall package the festival presents, promoting indigenous talent, allowing young people to broaden their horizons in relation to the arts, and allowing families to experience the arts together in a wonderful setting, make up the elements for a brilliant festival." John added: "I used to go to Glastonbury regularly, and you can see that same ethos on a smaller scale at play with Stendhal. They capture the spirit of inclusivity, and because of that, it is very attractive to us as a sponsor."

Stendhal Festival Director Ross Parkhill said: "We are so proud to welcome Alchemy to the Stendhal Family. They have an unmatched track record of supporting the arts in this part of the world, and their support is a major bonus for us this year. We look forward to hosting John and his team at the farm this summer while we anticipate performances from the many top acts who will be taking to the Karma Valley Stage, powered by Alchemy."
