Alchemy has developed a system of progression which is open and transparent. What makes it different from traditional promotion processes is that there is no limit on the number of people who can be promoted at any time. Very simply if you make the grade you get the reward, and this is a win-win for you and the business.

As you progress through our Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum levels we clearly communicate what competences, knowledge and skills are required for each.

Frequently asked questions

What is our ideal candidate?

Applicants must have completed, within the last 2 years (or expected to complete by July 2023) an IT related degree course such as Computer Science. All applicants much have a good technical grounding with an understanding of programming languages including Java, SQL, C# and C++.

Alongside your technical ability it is important that you understand our vision and are passionate about supporting Alchemy’s ambitious growth plans. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to work both independently and collaboratively in teams.

What does the recruitment schedule & process look like?

Applications open: 24th October
Applications close: 30th November
Stage 1 Individual Interviews: week commencing 12th December
Stage 2 Group assessment: week commencing 9th January

What will my salary be as a graduate?

Your salary will start at Bronze level which is £25k. You will also receive an annual bonus of up to 20% of your base salary, which is paid quarterly.

Will I have the ability to work from home?

At Alchemy, we currently have a hybrid working plan for all employees who have completed their initial training and successfully placed in client projects.

How many graduates do you hire?

We anticipate to have two graduates intakes in July and October 2023. Our intention is to hire up to 60 graduates to join Alchemy.

Is this a training opportunity or a job opportunity?

When you join Alchemy, you join as a full-time permanent employee. This is NOT a graduate programme where you have to apply for a role at the end.
