Alchemy Tech returns as main Stendhal Festival sponsor

Stendhal Festival has announced that Alchemy Technology Services Derry/Londonderry has confirmed that they will be a main Sponsor of the event for the second year in a row.

Following on from a successful partnership last year, Alchemy, who support such local artistic endeavours as the Playhouse, Millennium Forum, Les Foyer des Artistes, and have also previously played a role in supporting Community Stages at The International Choir Festival, will once again sponsor one of the main stages at the event.  Alchemy also won two Arts & Business Awards including Business of the Year at the Arts and Business NI Award.

Throughout their unfolding history, Alchemy has proven to be a huge supporter and champion of the arts in the region and their continued support of Stendhal Festival comes as funding from other sources continues to get cut.

Stendhal Festival Director Ross Parkhill said: “We are incredibly grateful to Alchemy for their continued support of our festival, particularly in the current climate and with the overall state of independent festivals in Northern Ireland looking somewhat bleak.”
He continued: “When we started Stendhal there were seven other independent music festivals in Northern Ireland, this year we are the last major one standing. We warned of this throughout the pandemic and throughout all the funding cuts to arts organisations suffered via numerous funding bodies.”
“It is fantastic that Alchemy has stood up for the arts once again and continued to support Stendhal, this support is more vital now than ever and everyone involved with Stendhal sends a huge thank you to them and we look forward to hosting the Alchemy team at the festival again this year.”
