Career Progression and Salary Expectations for Graduates

Alchemy has developed a system of progression which is open and transparent. What makes it different from traditional promotion processes is that there is no limit on the number of people who can be promoted at any time. Very simply if you make the grade you get the reward, and this is a win-win for you and the business.

    As you progress through our Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum levels we clearly communicate what competencies, knowledge and skills are required.

FAQs

Studied a Computer Science or IT related degree.
A strong understanding of programming languages, with a focus on Java and C#.
A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new things.

Technical Test:
Applicants will undergo a technical test the week commencing November 10th. This will be sent to you via email, and this will allow us to tailor the technical aspect of your interview based on your technical skillset.

Interviews:
Interviews will take place w/c 20th November & w/c 27th November, these will be held in our Alchemy offices.

Outcome: Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their interview no later than Friday 15th December 2023.

Your salary will start at Bronze level which is £25k. You will also receive a discretionary annual bonus of up to 20% of your base salary, which is paid quarterly.

We currently support a hybrid working model for all employees who have completed their initial training and successfully placed in client projects. For the duration of your training, you will be required to be office based.

When you join Alchemy, you join as a full-time permanent employee. This is NOT a graduate programme where you have to apply for a role at the end. NB. You will be entitled to the same benefits as all employees from commencement of employment.
