We invest in graduates and early-career professionals, building strong foundations from day one. Through our collaboration with Catalyst's Generation Innovation Programme and our 'School Buddy' initiative with St Mary's College, we offer work experience and insights which encourage young people to explore careers in STEM. We partner with Ulster University, Atlantic Technological University, North West Regional College, and Queen's University Belfast to connect with students, offer early-career advice, and sponsor awards that recognise excellence in Computer Science, Software Development, and Business Analytics.
We actively engage with the wider tech community to inspire and support young talent. Through our head sponsorship of TechTides, students had the opportunity to hear from leading experts and participate in live Q&A sessions, gaining insight into the latest in technology and innovation. In collaboration with TechFoundHer, we also hosted an Innovation Showcase celebrating women founders and innovators from across Northern Ireland, highlighting the impact of creativity and leadership in tech.
Our commitment to fostering the next generation extends to events like our Connect x Grow, run in partnership with Guidewire’s Grow Network. Our first-ever event brought together Alchemy employees and St Mary’s students to explore careers in technology in celebration of International Women’s Day. Staying true to our focus on empowering young people, we have also taken part in the most recent NI Mathfest, an initiative designed to help primary and secondary school children see how maths connects to future opportunities while moving away from fear of the subject itself.
